My cousin Stephanie sent me a link to these amazing mugshots of Australian lady crims circa 1910-1930 taken by the New South Wales Police and I am truly fascinated! The outfits, expressions and sad stories are haunting me, oh... and I like Fay Watson's pearls!  It must have been such a hard life back then for most. I wonder what these women would have thought if they knew they were being viewed all around the world in 2012.
