Going for walks, going to the park, chats, cuddles, I love it all but getting down on the ground and playing choo-choo or lets put baby into bed I just cant get into it! I just dont have the patience. Do you have any tips?
In G's room though there is a carpet on the floor that sister S gave us and I love it so much that I can spend a little longer than usual on the floor building blocks and looking for snails under the bed!

A beautiful carpet. I have never seen one like it. I am a bit of a doing mum too -good at the cooking, crafting and out and abouting but the role playing games do my head in a bit. My 4 year old and I have just started doing story time on a mat using blocks, knitted and wooden things and whatever is around. We take turns telling a(often dramatic)story. This is more fun for me as I don't get bossed around so much:)
