Things feel very rushed sometimes but not when I draw.
Here is some new work I've been doing in the evenings.

Umbrella Prints first brought out Bird in Paradise in 2008.  With an impossibly intricate repeat, an allover lace-like pattern, imaginary birds in an illustrated leafy wilderness we could not find anything like it on the market.  

Nearly two years later we have started getting emails, phone calls, a publisher and magazine photo shoot requests for Bird in Paradise.  We are so glad we kept faith in this design.

A new short run has just arrived in colours Bambi, Flamingo and Olive hand screen printed onto our custom made natural organic hemp/cotton. It is available as meterage and in 50cm x 60cm pieces in both our online shops and at Nest Studio now.

Army of Angels

This is one of the pictures from the show I do have. If you took one of these home I hope she brings you luck!!! I put one of these angels in my Grandmother's hands after she died to keep her company- we also put flowers in her hair (a bit Frida Kahlo in retrospect).
