I looked at one of your old posts about Strega Nona. I used to read this to my kids when they were little! I loved to see the illustrations of the young ones...very inspirational from a teacher's point of view. I hope I can bring some of that to my teaching at school this year (I have been away from the classroom for some time and it is a bit daunting thinking of going back!)

Thanks Julie That is one of my favourite books and lessons, it always works and always makes everyone want to eat PASTA! Feel free to use the idea if it fits with your plans.

It would be a little nerve-wracking going back after a break but hey like riding a bike! Im sure with your enthusiasm and creativity they will have a ball with you as teach x
