It twas nice to get away for a few days down the coast this past week. I tried to relax and realize that by definition is impossible! My husband did a jigsaw puzzle.....his goal this week was to feel the boredom (boredom representing the luxury of not doing or having to do anything at all until it hurts). G turned 5 and we had a party with a handmade with love butterfly pinada (thanks Sarah!) and the little kids had a great time going nudey rudey at the beach and jumping the waves.
Nobody caught a fish, we didnt go to Granite Island, nobody rode a camel for $12 on the foreshore, nobody got sunburnt; but we did eat chocolate cake, watch Narnia, walk, sleep-in, watch the seagulls flying around, play hide and seek, laugh, get bored and return refreshed :-)
